Those of you who have been on our journey will have known us as both Raymond James King Street and King Street Wealth Management.
We chose the name King Street not because of our creative ability, but, simply because our office is based on King Street in Manchester city centre.
In the last few weeks, we have been approached by a large American financial services business called King Street Capital Management who have asked us politely to change our name as, they own the IP rights to the term King Street.
The American speaker and coach, Tony Robbins, says “life doesn’t happen to you, life happens for you,” and this has given us the opportunity to change our name to something representing who we are, not where we are based.
After several days of thinking and searching (including the trade mark register this time!) for suitable names, we looked to nature, which many of you will have noticed is key to our branding as it fits with our core values.
The name we decided upon is Daintree Wealth Management. We will be operating as Daintree from 1st May 2020. If you’d like to learn more about why we chose Daintree, keep an eye out for more posts over the coming week.
