Mark is the founder and Managing Director of Daintree Wealth Management. Having spent 20 years in the financial services industry his experience spans private banking, financial planning and discretionary investment management.

Mark is married to Alessandra and has two young sons – Thomas and Luca. To relax Mark enjoys reading, weight training and participates in triathlon and cycling events.

Mark is passionate about giving back and helping others to “think” themselves to better lives. In the past he has been a trustee of both Henshaw’s Society for Blind People and Manchester Art Gallery.

Chris joined Daintree Wealth Management in July 2020 and is a qualified Financial Planner and Discretionary Investment Manager.

Chris is part of the investment committee at Daintree Wealth Management. Chris makes decisions alongside the investment board, based on current affairs and economic situations.

Chris is an avid golfer and has been a member of Formby Golf Club since he was 10 years old. He has represented the club at a junior level and continues to play socially.

Lubna joined Daintree Wealth in January 2023, as our Financial Controller.

After graduating from Imperial College London, she went on to qualify as a chartered accountant (ACA). Various finance roles in industry followed, and she received her ICAEW Fellowship in 2015.

Lubna is married and a mum of two boys, who occupy most of her time outside of work. She loves spending time with family and friends, and enjoys travelling, especially to warmer climes.

Lubna has also recently started running, although an attempt at the London marathon is still some way off!

João joined Daintree Wealth Management in March 2020 and has completed his CII Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning.

He graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics, specialising in Corporate Finance, Investments and Data Science.

João is a keen sportsman and was the 2017 World Champion in Taekwondo Sparring and Taekwondo Patterns in the Barneveld ITF Open World Championship and is part of the BUTL National Squad.

He previously held a position with The Manchester Metropolitan University as the President of the Taekwondo team during which he was the lead organiser for charity focused events in Manchester and led a women self-defence program regarding student safety in Manchester.

Alex joined Daintree Wealth Management in July 2024 and has completed his LIBF Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning.

He graduated from Liverpool John Moores University with a first class degree in Business with International Business Management, specialising in Finance, Economics and Management.

When outside of work, Alex is an avid sportsman, playing golf regularly and was captain of the Liverpool John Moores University tennis team.

Alex is also a keen traveler, after living and working in America as a Tennis and Mixed Martial Arts coach for 3 months, he then travelled around the country for another month. Since then, he has taken trips all around the world to Norway, Turkey and Portugal, among other places, as a chance to learn their cultures and gain valuable life experience.

Mason joined Daintree Wealth Management in October 2022 as a Trainee Paraplanner.

She graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University with a Bachelor of Arts in Banking and Finance, specialising in Financial Planning, Financial Sector Responsibilities and Ethics, Economics, Banking, Financial Markets and Institutions, Risk Management in Banking and Corporate Finance.

Outside of work, Mason enjoys Horse Riding, something she spent a large majority of her time on during her childhood and teen years, even partaking in some competitions around the North West.

She also attends Pilates and the gym to keep fit and healthy. She enjoys fashion, travel, podcasts, audiobooks plus the latest TV series and films in her spare time.

Maisy joined Daintree Wealth Management in January 2024 as a Trainee Paraplanner.

She graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, specialising in International Economics, Business in Emerging Markets and Advanced Economic Theory.

In addition, to her educational and professional pursuits, Maisy has explored different parts of the world and acquired diverse experiences. After graduating from university, she embarked on a year-long adventure, traveling throughout Southeast Asia and working in Australia.
